Welcome to the personal website of

Tatiana Barankova!

Here you will find information

about my professional life.

I teach Music, Russian and Theater classes at

The Russian Center for Languages and Arts.

Our classrooms are located at 1714 Beacon Street in Brookline, MA 02445.

For several last years, I have successfully worked on developing and implementing new methods of teaching the Russian language, which combine traditional curriculum and musical activities. Using this approach I teach three core language courses: Russian for beginners that includes learning the alphabet, developing speech and reading skills; Intermediate Russian for children with basic reading skills; and Advanced Russian focusing on mastering speaking, writing, and reading skills.

I have 15+ years of experience teaching music classes. My students successfully learn ear-training, rhythm, music theory, and take part in chamber performances.

I actively involve children and adults in musical projects. Recently I have directed the famous musical adaptations of “Town Musicians of Bremen”, “The wolf and seven goatlings”, “Masha and Vitya against the Wild Guitars”, “Cat-the-boaster”, “Roly-Poly”, “Baby Elephant goes to School”, and other ones.

I am a founder and Director of Education of

The Russian Center for Languages and Arts

located in Brookline, MA.
